Witham lubricants used to restore classic Saab 900

We are delighted to be featured in the past two issues of ‘Classics Monthly’ – a magazine dedicated to buying, restoring and repairing any popular British and European classic and sports car from the 1930s to the 1980s.  Each issue is packed with great technical advice, invaluable buying information and owners’ restorations.

Each month, the magazine features a step by step guide showing a full restoration and service of a classic car.  They recently showed the chassis repairs and service of a SAAB 900 Turbo Convertible for which a range of Witham products were used.

During the service, the Saab’s sump was filled up with Qualube Qualsyn Engine Oil.

Qualube Universal Blue Anti-freeze/Coolant was used as an engine coolant in the radiator.

On the brakes, the garage used our Prolan anti-seize grease and medium grade spray lubricant to loosen off some stubborn nuts that had become corroded.

They also used a spray version of Prolan medium grade lubricant to help loosen the caliper springs on the brake discs.

Finally, they used Qualube Classic Brake Fluid to top up the reservoir during the Saab’s service.
