QUALUBE DOUBLE DECKER SPOTTED AT LINCOLNSHIRE TRANSPORT MUSEUM

Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society bus

On a recent visit to one of our customers, The Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum, we were delighted to spot an old Vintage double decker bus with an old Witham Qualube advert on the side.

The LRTM was established in 1959 and is run entirely by volunteers of the Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society, one of the oldest vehicle preservation societies in the UK. Their collection of road transport through the ages includes the magnificent 1941 Leyland Titan double-decker bus, originally used by Lincoln Corporation, and sports the retro Witham Qualube advertisement.

Other vehicles include, coaches, vans, fire trucks and motorcycles. Impressively, all their vehicles are restored and operational, taking part in city events, open days, and even private hire. We have been proud to supply Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum with oils and paints for the maintenance and upkeep of their vehicles for many years. The museum is open to the public for visitors every Sunday throughout the year 11am-4pm.
