Motul launches new high performance racing brake fluid

• Motul RBF (Racing Brake Fluid) 700 is a high-performance brake fluid developed to offer highly consistent and maximum braking power at the extremes of brake temperature generated by racing carbon and
  ceramic brakes.
• Allows to minimise air vents of the brakes thus improving aerodynamic drag.
• Can be used with conventional steel discs.
• Can be used for clutch systems actuators.
• RBF 700 responds to DOT 4 standard allowing the fluid to be used for high performance road cars applications.

Motul is again expanding and perfecting its range of dedicated racing fluids by presenting brake fluid RBF 700. This new product, standardised DOT4, offers superior performance compared to conventional products with “dry” boiling point of 336°C. It improves braking power and uniformity under the most severe temperature conditions observed in car, motorcycle racing, or other motor sports.

A pioneer in the synthetic lubricants sector, Motul has been involved in motor sports for several decades. Over all these years, Motul has proved its expertise through the technical partnerships it has formed with the most prestigious race teams (Rebellion, Nismo SuperGT, Yamaha WSBK, Suzuki MotoGP, Honda HRC, amongst others). Motul products are also used throughout the world in the greatest championships: 24 Hours of Le Man, MotoGP, WSBK, Blancpain GT series and Goodwood Revival.
Building on this experience and expertise has enabled us to develop the Motul RBF 700 brake fluid. This product offers maximum and uniform braking power under the most extreme temperature conditions encountered in racing.
The “dry” boiling point has been raised greatly above the standards: 336°C. In parallel, the “wet” boiling point has also been improved: 205°C which enables it to retain full performance under wet conditions.
These performance figures make it possible to limit the cooling requirement, and thus the air flow directed onto the brakes, which results in potential aerodynamic gains.
This new brake fluid RBF700 is also standardised DOT4 which makes it compatible with and recommendable for high-performance private vehicles.
