MASSEY FERGUSON 135 World Record Attempt

Classic Tractor Enthusiasts Club ‘Friends of Ferguson Heritage’ (FoFH) is set to attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the largest number of Massey Ferguson 135s ever assembled– in celebration of an amazing milestone birthday.

Friends of Ferguson Heritage World Record Attempt

This Autumn will mark the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary – 60 years since the launch of the Massey Ferguson 135. This classic tractor, known as the ‘Red Giant’ is one of the biggest selling tractors of all time, with over 300,000 sold worldwide.

To celebrate this anniversary, FoFH are attempting to gather a World Record number of Massey Ferguson 135s at the Newark Vintage Tractor Show at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire on the 9th and 10th of November 2024.

To raise enough to fund the Guinness World Record recognition, they are asking for support from businesses to cover the costs of the MF135 spectacle, by way of sponsorship opportunities. They are also appealing to all MF135 owners to join them at Newark Showground for the event – which is not just limited to FoFH members. Besides the main event of the actual world record count, FoFH will also be judging the tractors in four classes based around; the Best Restored, Best Unrestored, Most Unusual and Most Worked.

If you know of any businesses or individuals that would be interested in supporting this event, or any MF135 owners that would like to join in the event, please contact Peter Lawrence, FoFH Club Chairman at pete.lawrence1@btinternet.com or 07952 311 993.
