SPEARHEAD TURF KEEPS BLADES SHARP WITH PROLAN

East Midlands turf supplier, Spearhead Turf, is part of Harrowden Turf Ltd and has been producing quality turf for many years, with an excellent reputation for good customer service.

The company has been using Witham’s lanolin based Prolan Medium Grade Lubricant to prevent rust on their mower blades during winter storage, saving them time and keeping their equipment in top condition. The company, which supplies turf for domestic lawns, golf courses, and sporting venues, has roughly 130 mowers to sharpen each year. This sharpening process can take 3-4 months to complete.

Previously, Spearhead Turf faced an issue with blades rusting in storage over the winter. This caused the blades sharpened earlier in the season to lose their edge faster than those sharpened later. Kevin from Spearhead Turf comments:
