Witham Group Award Success at the Lincolnshire Show

We were honoured to receive the following awards recently at the Lincolnshire Showground on the 19^th and 20^th June 2024.

BEST AGRICULTURAL STAND

We were delighted to win an award for our stand – the Sir Joseph Nickerson Award for “Best Stand Allied to Agriculture”. This recognition is especially meaningful considering the calibre of the competition.  Thank you to our guest exhibitors and customers Sands Agricultural Machinery, Bailey Trailers, Pioneer Plant, Truckmasters Handling Ltd, Agri.Cycle Limited, SAMOA Ltd – UK who all provided machinery and equipment for the stand and we also had a special appearance from the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance in their 30th Anniversary year!

BEST NEW PRODUCT

We were also thrilled to win the “Best New or Improved” award for our innovative new Calcium Grease Range – which is a more sustainable and cost-effective grease option.  The new grease range is made with calcium instead of lithium which is better for the environment because lithium mining can be harmful. Calcium is also more abundant and affordable.

These new calcium greases provide all the benefits of lithium greases, like reducing friction and protecting against wear and tear. They’re also water-resistant, good for corrosion protection, and can be used in a wide variety of applications, from farms to factories.

RISING STAR AWARD

We also were very proud that our newly promoted Operations Director Ian Wright came second in the Peacock & Binnington Rising Star Award.  The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS) launched this new award for 2024, celebrating the youth in our agricultural industry, kindly sponsored by Peacock and Binnington in memory of the late Michael Peacock.  The Rising Talent award aims to celebrate and recognise those who are starting their careers in the Agricultural industry and are already excelling.
