The Great British Road Trip Challenge

ONE CAR, 4 DAYS, 2400 MILES, 6 NERVOUS ADVENTURERS…HAPPY DAYS!

We’re very excited to announce that our Managing Director, Nigel Bottom, will be taking part in a very special charity event this September! On 8th-11th September 2016 Nigel and five other team members will embark on a four day road trip across the UK. They will be aiming to reach the highest and lowest, most east and west, and the most north and south points of the UK in 96 hours – all whilst raising money for six fantastic charities.

Each team member has chosen a charity to raise money for. These charities include:

• Cancer Research UK
• Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance
• RFU Injured Players Foundation
• Lincolnshire St Barnabas Hospice
• The National Autistic Society
• RNLI

Nigel is raising money for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance – a charity close to our hearts here at Witham Group. The organisation are invaluable to areas such as agriculture, where quick air response can mean the difference between life and death in hard to reach areas.

This is something Nigel has wanted to take part in for a long time so it’s great to see he’s getting the chance to do so.
